Vivid Sydney - June 2018

I worked at the annual Vivid Photonic State event during the second year of my Bachelor’s degree. I was part of a four-member team that contributed a two minute long video to the main animated sequence, which was 10 minutes in total and projected against the colonial facade of the State Government House.

The project had several phases, starting with research. Following a dynamic approach our clients participated regularly in reviews.

My contribution:

• Creation of a 3D geo representing a floating river

• Animation of the floating river (fall-down effect through Bullet)

• Particle effects

• Animation and texturing of flower models

• Adjustment/Timing of animated models

• Final rendering (through Arnold)
